Your dedicated Client Manager will guide you through the process of custom designing your ring.

Once you're happy with the design in mind, your ring will be CAD drawn by one of our expert jewellery designers.

The drawing will be sent to you for approval and changes can be made until you're 100% happy with the design.

Once the CAD design has been approved by you, our in-house jewellers create your bespoke ring.

Here are a few questions we get asked by our customers when considering Custom Rings.

At DOR we charge a custom design fee ranging from $250 to $1000 for custom designs that are radically different from any of our in-house designs.

We compare your custom design to our Collection and if we are able to modify one of our existing designs to suit your preferences, there may be no additional charge.

Depending on how custom and unique your ring is, it may be covered under our 30-day exchange. This is something that you can discuss with your Client Manager if you are concerned.

Yes, we can design the ring to your specifications, but we do encourage you to consider how the engagement ring will sit with a wedding band. Your Client Manager will discuss all of this with you when consulting on the design.

Yes, within reason. We offer a lifetime guarantee on our rings, so we aren’t able to make any design that is too thin and won’t stand the test of time.

Yes, we can design it to ensure that your engagement ring sits a wedding band flush.

Unfortunately, we don’t work with diamonds that haven't been purchased through DOR.

Yes, your ring will be drawn up with realistic designs through CAD (Computer-Aided Design). For custom designs, the images will be sent to you for approval before your ring is manufactured.
